KETLIMAC: Ketoconazole is available in the form of cream in a pack of 30 grams. The ingredient in this cream is Ketoconazole. Ketoconazole cream belongs to the class of dermatological preparation. Ketoconazole 2% Cream 30gm is used to treat skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and certain kinds of dandruff. The medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs. The medication is available in the form of a cream and should be applied to the affected area of the skin as directed by the doctor.
Patients should wash and dry the affected area before applying the cream. The cream should be applied in a thin layer and rubbed in gently. Patients should not cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing unless directed by the doctor. Administration of Dosage
KETLIMAC: Ketoconazole cream shows effects for most fungal infections within 2 to 3 weeks for most fungal infections. It takes 6 weeks for an athlete's foot to get better. The cream is applied once a day or as directed by your health physician. Gently rub the cream into the infected area and surrounding the skin.
