Description
Pantoprazole 40 mg + Domperidone 30 mg (Sustained Release) Capsules is made up of two drugs known as pantoprazole and domperidone. Domperidone is a pro-kinetic and anti-nausea agent that helps in the treatment of indigestion and stomach pain and pantoprazole is a proton inhibitor that reduces the excess stomach acid formation by blocking the action of enzymes. The combination of drugs is widely used to treat peptic ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease and is used to prevent the release of the stomach and relieve symptoms of food pipe lining inflammation or heartburn. The combination of medications works by increasing the movement of food through the stomach and the digestive tract more quickly, in this way reducing the feeling of bloating or fullness. On the other hand, it also helps in reducing stomach acid by blocking the action of an enzyme. This protein pump lies in the cells of the stomach wall and is responsible for the release of gastric acid secretion damaging tissues in the stomach and food pipe.

Administration of Dosage
Take this medication with a full glass of water, with a meal, or without a meal. It can usually be taken once per day.
