Description
Sucralfate 1 gm + Oxetacaine 20 mg is a combination of two medicines available in Susp. Pet 100 ML under the brand name ‘OBANCID is mostly prescribed by General Practitioners and Gynecologists. It is prescribed for acidity, heartburn, and stomach ulcers. Sucralfate is used in the combination of this syrup to treat ulcers. Oxetacaine works as local anesthesia for creating a numbness effect for quick relief from pain caused by ulcers and injury due to acid formation in the stomach.

Indication
The suspension containing Sucralfate 1 gm + Oxetacaine 20 in OBANCID, is used for an antacid, heartburn, and stock ulcers. Sucralfate in the combination is helpful to treat ulcers by covering the damaged tissue of ulcers in the stomach and preventing effects from acid or injury for healing. Oxetacaine works like local anesthesia for providing numbing effect helpful in quick relief from pain caused by ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach.

Administration of Dosage
It is recommended to take the medicine 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. The ulcer can heal completely with this combination of suspension in 4-6 weeks or more. Take the treatment, as advised by your doctor, and do not abruptly stop the treatment without seeking medical advice.
Precautions and & Disclaimer
Do not drink anything immediately after taking this medicine to safeguard its effectiveness. Drink plenty of water & eat high-fever foods to avoid the side effect of constipation created by this suspension.
