This drug is a fixed combination of three medicines; ACECLOFENAC 100 mg plus PARACETAMOL 325 mg plus Chlorzoxazone 250 mg. BETERNAC MR: Aceclofenac 100 mg + Paracetamol 325 mg + Chlorzoxazone tablet comes under the family of Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is a Schedule H drug available in tablet form to reduce pain & inflammation. Cyclo-oxygenase (COX) is a silkworm enzyme that causes pain and swelling on the affected tissue and the same is blocked by the use of Aceclofenac available in combination with the drug to reduce pain & swelling. Paracetamol, the second salt in the drug, works as a pain & fever reducer, thus, being helpful in the fast recovery of wounds. The third salt Chlorzoxazone is prescribed to unwind certain muscles in your body and soothe the inconvenience caused by intense (short-term), painful muscle, or bone conditions. Thus, the administration of this combination of drugs helps in the reduction of pain, inflammation, and fast healing of tissue.

The two medicines Aceclofenac and Paracetamol as pain killer medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and inflammation. Chlorzoxazone results in relaxing the muscle by working on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle spasms thereby helping in improving muscle movement.
