Description
OBENCLAV SINGLE STRENGTH contains Amoxicillin 200 mg + Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg, a two-drug composition available as Dry Syrup in a pack of HDPE 30 ml. This is used as a prescription drug by Child Specialists. It is an antibiotic. The combination of amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid is used to treat certain bacterial infections such as infections of the lungs, ears, skin, sinus, and urinary tract. Amoxicillin is a penicillin-like antibiotic that kills bacteria. It also prevents the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It prevents bacteria from destroying amoxicillin.

Indication
OBENCLAV SINGLE STRENGTH contains Amoxicillin 200 mg + Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg is indicated to fight against bacterial infections in adults and children. These bacterial infections include infections of the lungs, ears, skin, sinus, and urinary tract. Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid is also preferred by doctors for use in the treatment of certain sexually transmitted diseases (STD)

Administration of Dosage
The dose of OBENCLAV SINGLE STRENGTH dry syrup comprising Amoxycillin & Clavulanic Acid can be taken three times a day or two times a day as directed by your physician. The dose depends on the Medical history, age, individual symptoms, and gender of the patient. This medicine may give you a feeling of becoming comfortable within a short span but you must continue the medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Stopping it before completion of treatment may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
Precautions and & Disclaimer
OBENCLAV SINGLE STRENGTH comprising Amoxycillin & Clavulanic Acid is an antibiotic that will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections. It will work only for bacterial infections. This dry syrup should not be given to children suffering from cold and flu symptoms as this antibiotic is useful in bacterial infections only and not virus infections. This dry syrup is recommended for cough & cold only when your doctor is satisfied that some underlying secondary infection of bacteria is present.
