Description
Rabeprazole is a single salt medicine used as an antacid available in the form of injections. The injection is in a single vial. The strength of Rablidose IV – Rabeprazole is 20 mg. The injection is available under the brand name ‘RABLIDOZE IV’.
Rabeprazole 20mg Injection is used to reduce the acid produced in your stomach. This medicine acts as an antacid and is used in many diseases of the stomach and intestines, which occurs due to acid formation. Rabeprazole 20 mg is effective in indigestion, ulcer disease, acid reflux, peptic ulcer, and some other conditions associated with excessive formation of acid by the stomach. Rabeprazole comes in the class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs)

Indication
Rablidose – Rabeprazole is used for giving quick relief in the event of the formation of acid in the stomach. It gives relief to the patient with the problems associated with the stomach & intestines that occurred as a result of the formation of acid. It is beneficial for Acid reflux problems and the treatment of peptic ulcer disease. It reduces pain due to heartburn and acid reflux.

Administration of Dosage
The injection containing Rabeprazole is administered into the vein or directly into the muscle. It is to be given by the doctor or the nurse. You are not to inject this medicine. The number of doses & how often the injection is being given will have to be decided by your treating doctor considering your medical condition. However, you are to continue your treatment till the advice of your doctor. It comes in powder form that has to be mixed with liquid before injecting the same into the patient.

Before taking Rabeprazole 20mg Injection, tell your doctor if you have any liver problems, or taking HIV medicines, have any type of drug allergy, and suffer from bone loss (osteoporosis). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also inform the treating doctor before starting the medicine. You should avoid taking alcohol as it results in more acid production by the stomach.
