Description
Ceftriaxone 1000 mg Injection is a made with single salt medicine used as an antibiotic is available in the form of injections. The quantity of combined medicine in the Injection is 1 GM and packed in a Vial with water. The strength of Xonerate – Ceftriaxone is 1000 mg. The injection is available under the brand name ‘XONERATE. This drug is beneficial in eradicating infections of the throat, skin, urinary tract, nose, lungs, and surgical sites. It forms bacterial cell walls and kills them. But, the injection is not useful in viral infections.
Ceftriaxone is a third-generation antibiotic called ‘cephalosporin’ used in the treatment of infections of the lungs, brain, abdomen, middle ear, urinary tract, kidneys, bones, joints, skin, and soft tissues, blood, heart, and the chest. It is also beneficial to remove infection caused by sexually transmitted diseases. This medicine comes in the beta-lactamase group of antibiotics. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic that prevents the formation of bacteria. It is used in bacterial infections and not the infections caused by viruses. Administration of Dosage
The injection containing Ceftriaxone is administered into the vein or directly into the muscle. It is to be given by the doctor or the nurse. You are not to inject this medicine. The number of doses & how often the injection is being given will have to be decided by your treating doctor considering your medical condition. However, you are to continue your treatment till the advice of your doctor. It comes in powder form that has to be mixed with liquid before injecting the same into the patient.
