PANROWEL-D: Pantoprazole 40 mg + Domperidone 10 mg Tablet is available in packaging of 10*10 ALU-ALU. This combination is prescribed by General Physicians and Gastroenterologists.

PANROWEL – D: Pantoprazole 40 mg + Domperidone 10 mg Tabletin combination are used for the treatment to provide relief from symptoms of acid reflux disease. It is beneficial in heartburn and discomfort of the chest. Both the medicines together reduce the amount of acid in the stomach and are beneficial to improving gut motility. PANROWEL – D is very effective in reducing the acid in the stomach. It decreases the backflow of acid from the stomach to the food pipe. There is a pump named ‘proton pump’ in the stomach which is responsible for the secretion of acids in the stomach. Pantoprazole works to block acid secretion by binding the proton pump to secrete stomach acid. Domperidone enhances the health of the intestines and stomach thus avoiding acid reflux to the food pipe.

Indication

PANROWEL – D: Pantoprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 10mg tablets are indicated for gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD). Pantoprazole when used alone does not give relief to GERD. Therefore, the use of Pantoprazole is prescribed in a combination with Domperidone for the treatment of GERD. This combination is also beneficial for vomiting, flatulence, and stomach fullness.

Administration of Dosage

PANROWEL – D: Pantoprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 10mg tablet should be taken by mouth once daily but it can be taken twice in some cases depending on the severity of symptoms or as advised by your doctor. It should be taken before 30 minutes of eating food to prevent acidity and heartburn. The patient has to consult the doctor for the right dosage for him.
