The composition of this combination drum of four medicines is in two parts. Part 1 is Vitamin C 150 mg/1.5 ml and Part 2 consists of Methylcobalamin 25 mcg + Folic Acid 0.7 mg + Niacinamide 12 mg/ml. All the four drugs are available in a combo-pack injection of 1.5 +1 ml with a syringe under the brand name ‘COBNOW FORTE’. The injection is prescribed mostly by Gynecologists and Neurologists. The injection is useful to prevent nutritional deficiencies.
Vitamin C is very important to reverse the deficiency of Ascorbic Acid which is useful for tissue repair in the body. Mecobalamin reverses the deficiency of B12 beneficial in neuropathy. Mecobalamin is the neurologically active form of vitamin B-12. Folic Acid is a B complex vitamin and is beneficial in the management of megaloblastic anemia due to a deficiency of folic acid, and is prescribed for anemic pregnant women & children. Niacinamide is also used to improve nutritional deficiency. It is a vitamin B-3.
