FENAWORK M is used for the prevention of Asthma. The combination of the medicines is also used in the symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) and hay fever.
It should be taken every day at the same time, possibly in the evening after food. It should not be stopped abruptly without the consultation of your doctor. The dose & periodicity is to be decided by your medical professional as the history & medical conditions of each patient is different.
If you are taking the dose of FENAWORK-M strictly as per the directions of your treating doctor, you may not experience any side effects. However, some patients may experience any of the side effects like vomiting or vomiting sensation, skin rashes, an increase in white cells, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain. FENAWORK-M is used for prescription by General Physicians and Dermatologists. It is available in a pack of 10*10 ALU ALU.
The first salt is Fexofenadine. It is an anti-allergic medicine that gives relief to the symptoms of runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.
The second salt in combination is Montelukast. It blocks leukotriene. Leukotriene is a chemical produced in the lungs. It causes swelling and enhances the production of mucus. By blocking the action of leukotriene, the salt Montelukast helps to reduce symptoms of inflammation, mucus production, and smooth airways. Therefore, Montelukast is used for the management of symptoms associated with asthma and helps to relieve common allergy symptoms like congestion, sneezing, and symptoms of running nose. It is also administered for exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB). Montelukast, the second salt available in the combination, does not manage all allergic conditions. This is an anti-allergic drug. This medicine is specifically used for allergies related to hay fever (allergic rhinitis).
